Your License will expire on August 31 of every ODD numbered year
(2009)
The Continuing Education Requirements you have to meet are as follows:
1 hour of continuing education (CEU) for each month or part of a month that shall have elapsed since you received your License, up to a maximum of 24
CEU's.

- Massage Therapy = 12 hours (techniques, history, anatomy, kinesiology, pathologies, etc.)
- Remaining General = 6 hours (client/therapists relations, CPR, charting, insurance billing, etc.)
- FL Laws & Rules = 2 hours
- Ethics for LMT's = 2 hours
- Prevention of Medical Errors = 2 hours
- HIV/AIDS Course = in addition to above 24 hours listed (can be of any length)

** You are required to maintain record of your CEU's for a minimum of 4 years**
For 1st time licensure renewals (only) - graduates of a Board Approved Massage School will not be required to receive additional hours in FL Laws & Rules or Professional Ethics for renewal
