The Florida State Massage Therapy
Association (FSMTA) has served as Florida's state professional association for Massage
Therapy for over 60 years. FSMTA membership leads the nation in accomplishments for the
massage profession. The FSMTA Sugar Dunes Chapter encompasses massage therapist
members throughout the Florida panhandle area, including Fort Walton Beach, Destin,
Sandestin, and Niceville.
The FSMTA's mission statement: “To Unify The Massage Therapy Profession While
Creating, Representing, and Promoting Standards of Excellence in Health Care” validates
the promise to serve and protect the massage therapist in Florida.

All meetings will be held at the Grace Tabernacle Church located on Eglin Parkway in
Mariner Plaza (near Cinco Bayou Bridge and Scully's restaurant) in Fort Walton Beach, on
the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for meet, greet, and
refreshments; 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. business meeting; 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. is the

Membership Drive:
Membership Drive - Starts February 2008 through February 2009. The member who signs up the
most new members gets their 2009 FSMTA Convention registration fee paid for.
